Track Pictures!
These pictures are from some videos I took when my brother in law Cody and I went to the best little 1/8 mile track in Texas! Texas Raceway!

This is the same picture that was on the 72' Fastback page but from a different angle.
Now that's traction you only see at Texas Raceway! Love those long smoky burnouts!

Here's a great run for me a 7.92@85.07! My second best ever and it was accomplished through the mufflers and using a K&N air filter! Previous best was a 7.91@85.21 through open headers and no air filter.

Here's Cody making quick work of a Nissan pickup on two separate occasions. I think that's a little close there Cody! Nah! It must just be the angle I'm looking at it! And in the second photo and race, a screw up pass!! (Cody will have a cow when he sees I put this in!) This is what happens boys and girls when you get too greedy at the line and dump that clutch with the revs way to high! Excessive wheel spin. Still won the race though!

Here's Cody against a REAL challenge a camaro ss.
Well he didn't win the race but he saved his best pass to date for the camaro. And this was with the old stock motor with just a few bolt-ons. Just in case you can't tell from the blurry scoreboard it ran a 9.22@75.77 the camaro ran a 9.06. I'm sure with the new motor this will fall as soon as Cody gets some practice racing on slicks, these runs were on street tires.

I think Cody was afraid to stage against this car, that was a blown 6 second GT! But wait... WOOHOO!! Cody whooped him!! (well actually the guy had some kind of problem about 60 ft. out but we'll take it)
Times seem to be getting slower, at first we didn't know why but would find the problem later that night.

Oh no! Is Cody gonna get whipped by an import?! In his defense the VW was juicin' it (re:nitrous) and we later found out that Cody's BBK throttle body had come loose at the plate screws and was only getting about 3/4 throttle and at times only 1/2! Nevertheless he prevailed to take the win light with a lackluster 9.79@74.52 this car would normally KILL that but it was a while before we discovered the problem. He called the manufacturer and they repaired it at no cost to him and it was reinstalled shortly thereafter.
Track Pictures May 2003

Incon GT, now twin turbo powered (and caught in digital clarity this time) about to make another pass! Car showed tons of potential in the mph department but couldn't hook up well enough to turn in the good ETs. Bald Nittos and a 500+ hp 5 speed combo didn't make a good recipe for the kind of times we know this car is capable of. The best 1/8 mile MPH was over 95! But the best E.T. on this day was only an 8.25 :(
